Masses were evacuated while many others met their untimely end in the fissures. Among the howls of the wind and the cries of the people one could hear a strange noise… Laughter? So...this is the power of the Serpent. I did not think we could get even more powerful. The blond haired young man looked out from the endless darkness that encircled him. The deep violet streaks down his cheeks and his, now, crimson eyes contrasted the environment vividly, giving him an almost ethereal look. Now we can. “End it all.” The young man and disembodied voice laughed in unison.

Vayne Blackthorn sat at his desk, papers in hand, and rapped on the table "Not a lot of talent..." Not that they could afford the best yet...the Fenrir Mercenary Squad was just beginning after all.
And Vayne, in his own words, was the 'Broke Captain of the puppy squad' at the moment. Not a lot of bite and not a lot of funds to get some. However, he did not make light of the efforts of Frederick Atmoss and Amelia Nile, they basically kept Fenrir running right now.

Short
Captain of the Panzer Dragon Fangs, Raleigh Strum, entered the collective camp consisting of his PDF, the Revenant Circle and Criton’s Cross. What the hell was out there...? he absentmindedly ran his index and middle fingers along the gashes on his helmet.
One of the Mages from Criton’s Cross, Lillian Adell, was on her way out when they passed each other causing her to hastily cover her mouth to stifle a gasp when she saw the extent of the damage to Captain Strum’s helmet...gashes that went through his helmet and along his cheek and temple. There was even some blood seeping from the two making it look like the helme
